Indoor set-up only. The studio is a garage and the door will be open so it is indoors but with a large outdoor open side. Masks required.
Susan has worked with clay for over 35 years and has an MFA in ceramics from LSU. Having grown up in Chapel Hill, Susan has since lived in many places, working as a studio artist, teacher, and arts professional. She helped run Coleman Clay in Nevada and after moving to SC, she created ClayWorks Studio and Gallery, a unique cooperative studio and gallery that has successfully served the Charleston community for almost 20 years. Susan returned to NC and she was a founding Board member for the FRANK gallery, an arts collective here in Chapel Hill. Susan exhibits in many national, as well as international exhibitions, and she teaches workshops and at craft schools such as Penland and Arrowmont. She is honored as a 'Fellow' of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, the leading international organization in support of clay.
