I started to make small images by cutting paper some years ago and am still exploring the rich world of paper, making collage and 3D constructions using both paper and textiles. Both paper and fabric can be dyed and printed, sewn together and cut up and reassembled. The beautiful and subtle surface of paper always intrigues me and I try to reveal the beauty of the imperfections of the material. I work with holes and shadows, and the many different colors whites can be. I am also slowly exploring textile inks and printing on both paper and fabric.
