Kelly Bodie is a printmaker from Chapel Hill, N.C. Her work is focused on texture and line quality. She uses her energetic drawing style to bring an image forward or obscure it into abstraction.
Kelly studied fine arts with a concentration in printmaking at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Kelly interned for the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s prestigious Art and Leadership Program for Girls in Santa Fe, N.M. Since relocating to Chapel Hill, Kelly has been selected to showcase her work in Charlotte, Cary, Raleigh and Carrboro. She adores being an adopted Tar Heel along with her husband, daughter, son and beloved dogs.
