Artist Bio
Award-winning author/artist Clay Carmichael creates pen-and-ink & watercolor art and writes books for children and teens.
Her books include the young adult novel Brother, Brother, the illustrated novel Wild Things, and the three-book bind up of her picture books, Bear at the Beach and Other Adventures. She speaks and teaches writing and illustrating at schools, libraries and other venues. She and her sculptor-husband Mike Roig live and work in Carrboro.
